Interesting perspective, but regardless, please be wary of the comments which you are making on the blogosphere! You never know who may be watching...

Nonetheless, this truly refutes the usual attitude which you pick up when I see you online. Haha perhaps an alter-ego? :D

Good dialogue. Very realistic and well acted out. The tension in the piece is also apparent. Good work.

Interesting character - however, this is not a letter. The assignment is "Letter to the Past" and so should be in the form of a letter to this person. I would've liked to see a letter to this cheery man - would've been really interesting.

This story roughly follows the conventions of greek tragedy. I can see the tragic fall of Ong Aileen and then her realization and the reversal of fortune. However, the bad point of the story is that it is quite predictable and very generic.

There is very little about the physicality of the two characters in your descriptions and I would've liked to see more of that. Also, your thoughts on their actions and behaviour are quite scant and not nearly deep enough to give you material for development.

Your story endings are quite random in nature and content and while oftentimes this is used to effect dramatic irony, I don't think these quite work that way here. However, this takes practice - keep at it and you'll achieve it over time.

Harsh words, my friend. Say what you like, the MDA's played a big part over the years in giving us money to make films, to move our media industry and fund our content and if you were a film student like I was 10 years ago, I'd say we've come a long way! We have a long road yet to travel and it's going to be bumpy but I say stop complaining, let's make the change we want to see, from the inside, not the outside. So I'll advise you to join the MDA eventually, and work your changes from within the organization - that's the best way I know how.
