Hello.

 

“Hello…” the timid boyfriend whimpers into the cellphone. His girlfriend next proceeds to blast the poor boy for not buying her enough flowers. Popping a Mentos into his mouth, the boy receives a dose of courage and felt he had enough. “Screw you, go hell!!!” he roars into the cellphone.

 

Horror Night.

 

It’s a stormy night, and a jasmine scent filled the large room. Ben inches towards the only table where a figure in white with hideous long hair is seated. Suddenly, the figure whips around and hurls a plastic file at him. To his horror, he had failed his final project.

 

Frogs and pests.

Lucas swings his knife in one swift move. He grimaces slightly as a pool of blood steadily forms around the severed frog’s head. Lucas checks that he still has four fingers on the other hand. As he cleans up, he pities the cockroach he had beheaded.

Matchsticks

 

The poor girl had nowhere to seek shelter from the dreadful winter. She fishes her bundle of matchsticks out, hoping to light one up and warm her fingers. To her dismay, even her last matchstick fails to light up. “If only I had a lighter!” as she whispers her last.

 

High

 

“Drink this and you’ll get high for sure,” the ruffian proclaims as he hands the fizzling drink to the wealthy heiress. She displays a look of skepticism before downing the drink quickly. The heiress instantly felt dizzy and excited simultaneously. When she regained her senses, she realizes she’s grown ten centimeters “higher”.

    Your story endings are quite random in nature and content and while oftentimes this is used to effect dramatic irony, I don’t think these quite work that way here. However, this takes practice – keep at it and you’ll achieve it over time.
